We are looking for a Buyer to join our Cooper Standard team. This role focuses on sourcing, supplier management, cost savings initiatives, and supporting global commodity strategies — especially in the area of tooling and capital equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Source tooling and equipment in line with cost and quality requirements
Manage supplier performance and support improvement plans
Lead cost reduction and lean initiatives
Monitor market trends and technologies
Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business goals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2–3 years of relevant experience
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Ability to travel as needed
