Your responsibilities
- Full responsibility for strategic direction within Therapeutic Areas in delivering the business planning process and the successful commercial implementation of a competitive brand value plan by developing go-to-market and channel strategy
- Responsible for the delivery of P&L of the brands within the TA and monitors the performance, identify critical opportunities and risks within the brand plan and evaluates investments for Life Cycle opportunities
- Drive operational excellence in marketing & sales efforts and business/forecast planning
- Tracks performance by measuring and monitoring appropriate Brand and Market dashboard measures, take corrective action (if required).
- As a local market expert in DAS/TA, is encouraged to contribute to the identification of unmet customer needs and future evolution of products and services around-the-pill, constantly utilizing the knowledge from external and internal intelligence
- Leads the Sales and Marketing Organization to ensure the flawless alignment between Strategy and Execution supported by a Bottom-Up/Top Down approach.
- Responsible for the team development, talent identification and retention. Ensures appropriate development plans are in place for the entire team
- As an inspirational leader applies networking and collaboration proficiencies across the cross-functional teams
- Create an inclusive environment in which every member of the team has an opportunity to develop and succeed
- Responsible for sharing best practices in terms of processes, deliverables, approaches (where possible)
- Conducts regular performance reviews with direct reports to help support the creation of a diverse, high performing team
- Builds bridges and alliances across functional and regional boundaries in order to drive value for the company
- Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure effective development and implementation of strategies
- Partner with Government Affairs and Public Affairs to ensure a positive policy environment
- Support Market Access activities and future launches as relevant
- Outlines and leads the customer strategy, customer value-added initiatives and stakeholder engagement plans
- Establish effective working relationships with opinion leaders and other key stakeholders & be recognized as partner in improving quality of care (through, for instance, co-creation projects with key accounts)
- Maintain in the highest standards of ethics, quality, compliance and accountability: compulsory training must be completed on time, she/he should act in accordance with the Quality & Compliance Core Objective, and help others do the same when there is an opportunity.
Our requirements
- Experienced in pharmaceutical sales & marketing and people management (min. 6 years)
- Education: University / Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent, preferably in a relevant business-related or life sciences discipline
- Strong leadership skills, ability to structure and further develop a team of people, retain motivation and infuse spirit relevant to the company culture, vision and business strategy
- Ability to challenge "status quo" and recognize internal and external market complexity to act with courage promoting compliance to drive business
- Excellent interpersonal skills (oral, business writing, presenting and listening)
- Fluent English knowledge of both spoken and written
- High level of ethical standards in business
- Broad-based, well-rounded marketing and sales background
- Ability to navigate and produce results in a global, matrix organization, strong cross-departmental support, interdisciplinary approach
- Strong customer focus and service orientation

- Location and mobility: 70% local office-based/ 30% travels

The Business Unit Lead (BUL) is responsible for the delivery of the strategic objectives and the P&L of the Brands within the designated Therapy Area. He/She is responsible for successful commercial development and implementation of the brand value plan by navigating go-to-market and channel strategy. The BUL is leading for the local Sales and Marketing teams and representing Poland at MSM/EMEA organization within the area of responsibility and where required. He/She is also responsible for the efficient channel mix and prioritization for the customer-facing team within the area of responsibility and by brand, to achieve the national sales revenue target. Furthermore, the BUL has to ensure Execution Excellence when rolling-out strategy and tactics.
