The Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in shaping both the development of new products and the successful adoption of existing solutions by our lottery customers. This position bridges customer needs with our product strategy and long‑term vision. Your responsibilities Collaborate with the product manager to understand and refine the strategic direction for your team’s products. Work hand‑in‑hand with the Lead Product Owner to prioritize feature requirements and review user stories. Engage directly with customers to uncover their needs, anticipate future expectations, and translate insights into clear product requirements. You will also prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and workshops. Take full ownership of your team’s products within the scrum environment — from breaking down features into technical requirements, through backlog management, to acceptance testing of deliverables. Oversee the entire product lifecycle by working closely with engineering leaders responsible for day‑to‑day development activities. Produce customer‑specific documentation such as process flows, functional specs, use cases, requirements documents, and configuration questionnaires. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Legal, and Security teams. Support customers after rollout, helping them adopt and effectively use the product. Employer requirements A degree in an IT‑related field or equivalent experience, along with at least 3 years in a business systems analyst or product owner role within an enterprise environment. Solid understanding of agile methodologies, modern product management practices, and product design concepts; experience with JIRA or Polarion is highly valued. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to influence and drive outcomes without formal authority, working effectively with cross‑functional teams. Strong organizational and project management abilities, including handling multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment. Willingness to travel internationally (up to 15%). Comfort working across global time zones. A good grasp of the technical foundations of transaction‑processing systems (e.g., lottery engines, core banking platforms, fintech solutions) is a significant advantage.
