Job Description

We are part of the Merchant Success team, responsible for one of Allegros most important projects: providing business support to merchants in their international expansion. For over three years, we have been working to raise our partners export awareness and ensure they have the best possible experience selling abroad. Your daily tasks and responsibilities will focus on developing our partners businesses in Allegro foreign markets.

What will be your main duties?

  • Building programs and promotions aimed at helping merchants increase sales in foreign markets and continuously expand the export selection of products on Allegro, following the List once, sell everywhere approach.

  • Identifying problems and developing structured solutions, while optimizing processes to help our partners expand internationally through scalable strategies (with focus on legal and tax regulations, in countries where Allegro operates).

  • Defining, planning, and executing various marketing campaigns to accelerate the growth of our merchants on Allegro platforms outside Poland.

  • Participating in the development of comprehensive educational solutions and effective outreach campaigns to equip our sellers with knowledge of the specifics of international sales (focus on creating engaging content such as videos and podcasts to educate, inspire, and build trust among exporting merchants).

  • Planning and implementing targeted communication campaigns aimed at attracting new merchants to Allegro, emphasizing the platform’s cross-border features.

  • Developing an export knowledge portal for merchants across all Allegro international markets, intended to serve as the go-to platform for merchant support, education, and empowerment in cross-border sales.

  • Establishing relationships with Polish and local entities/agencies to build and strengthen Allegros position in export promotion activities.

  • Analyzing both internal and external data to make data-driven decisions about solutions and project directions.

  • Creating documentation, including presentations to stakeholders and management, at various stages of the project (mainly in English).

What skills and experience will help you to excel in this role?

  • You have to like working with people - in this position, you will be interacting/communicating with people from various departments across Allegro on a daily basis. Legal consulting, financial, tax, technical aspects of process automation and more - these will be your ongoing challenges.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English (min. C1), native Polish.

  • Knowledge in the area of foreign trade, export and experience in leading marketing campaigns will be an added advantage.

  • Following the development and latest trends of e-commerce, especially in terms of developing sales to new markets.

  • Familiarity with and usage of Allegro (experience selling on Allegro will be a plus).

  • Highly developed communication skills, ability to build a rationale based on pertinent arguments.

  • Experience in managing relationships with multiple internal stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in complex data modeling and analysis; ability to translate it into business recommendations.

  • Focus on business efficiency and relationship building.

  • Being able to set goals and be creative in finding solutions.

  • Open-mindedness and ability to deep dive into customer needs, and more importantly, ability to present the results of your research and observations and turn them into concrete actions.
