Role is intended to provide guidance, support, and resources for the GSS Leadership team and specific Service Owners through centralized organization of the business management processes focused on finance and people support. This role will constantly analyze our security portfolio needs in real-time to help identify any deviations from existing processes. A key goal for this position is to create automated technology workflows to streamline and manage day-to-day processes.

What the day will look like


Finance Support



  • Create, manage, and develop an internal financial database to outline all planned and unplanned expenses across the security organization.
  • Help with financial tracking and the management all GSS spend requests to ensure strict budget adherence and financial efficiency.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities for non-essential items that can be reduced or eliminated.
  • Ability to analyze estimated spend by categories (e.g., travel, consulting, legal fees, cost centers) to identify priority or high-cost areas.
  • Implement a travel approval process to ensure that all travel requests are reviewed and approved before booking.




People Support

  • Work closely with the GSS service area leaders to maintain the master GSS people rosters broken down by core service.
  • Maintain open communication with request and service owners to understand any challenges they are facing and provide support as needed.
  • Schedule regular leadership reviews (e.g., weekly or bi-weekly) to check the status of open spend requests; leveraging technology to display dashboards or reports to get a quick overview.
  • Implement robust business management reporting using collaborative technology platforms to generate accurate and timely reports for senior management.


Skills and experience that will lead to success


  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or financial management role with a demonstrated history of increased responsibility.
  • Degree in business administration or work-related experience.
  • Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite highly recommended to be successful in this role with a familiarity with integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Ability to connect Power BI to various data sources and perform data transformations.
  • Experience in using Power BI to visualize data and generate insights through dashboards for accurate reporting.
  • Proficiency in creating, managing, and troubleshooting SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer or Power Automate for workflow automation is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
