Business Line MV Drives Service Operations Manager – Poland

Join ABB’s team and lead local operations for our Medium Voltage Drives division in Aleksandrów Łódzki, Poland. This hybrid role reports to the Business Line Manager, Medium Voltage Drives, Motion Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Purchase Order to Cash process, from receiving the PO to accepting all agreed deliverables.
• Define and execute operations strategies that support broader business goals, ensuring resilient structures and active contribution to overall service development.
• Foster a customer‑focused culture, optimise business processes, and deliver service excellence and profitability.
• Build high‑performing teams and a culture of safety and integrity through talent development, organisational effectiveness, competence assessments, and strict adherence to HSE and compliance standards.
• Oversee the full value chain, achieve KPIs such as Complete and On‑Time Delivery, ensure budget adherence, optimise supply and capacity planning, and deploy quality and risk management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least eight years of experience in Operations Management, with a strong focus on process optimisation, project execution, and quality assurance.
• In‑depth knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and the ability to promote a safe work environment.
• Data‑driven mindset, using data management tools to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Proven experience in people management, both direct and indirect, and the ability to lead and inspire others effectively.
• Customer‑centric, proactive, and ownership mindset in delivering high‑quality, timely, and value‑adding services.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Polish is a strong advantage.
