Business IT Consultant – Automotive Sector

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an independent consultant, advising automotive industry clients on digital transformation, digitization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Analyze, model, and enhance business processes, organizational structures, and IT environments while defining and recommending appropriate IT solutions.
• Develop concepts, create implementation plans, and support the deployment of prepared solutions.
• Lead client workshops and deliver impactful presentations.
• Collaborate in creating tailored client proposals.
• Provide guidance on key automotive industry processes, including production, logistics, marketing, sales, and after-sales service, while integrating innovative trends such as connected cars, customer interaction, in-car services, and autonomous driving.
• Mentor less experienced consultants and lead small consulting teams.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in IT consulting, designing IT architectures, or implementing IT systems in enterprises, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Proven experience in business process analysis, modeling, and improvement.
• A passion for the automotive industry and the transformative changes it is undergoing.
• Familiarity with market trends such as Digitalization, Customer First, and Industry 4.0.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building relationships and gaining business partners’ trust for your ideas and services.
• Proficiency in German and English at a B2 level or higher.
• Analytical thinking skills – structured problem-solving and the ability to propose solutions that align with business objectives.
