We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in bridging key departments (Marketing & Sales, Product, Account Management, Operations & Finance) by delivering insights, aligning metrics across teams, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
You will utilize advanced analytics and reporting tools to build dynamic dashboards, pull relevant metrics, and help streamline operations. By working closely with each department, youll ensure consistency in tracking and analyzing performance metrics, ultimately supporting the companys strategic objectives.
- Developing a solid understanding of the business, the contribution of each department, and the metrics that drive performance
- Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
- Collaborating across departments to align on key metrics and ensure consistent performance measurement
- Developing and managing business intelligence solutions, including dynamic dashboards that provide real-time insights for various teams
- Supporting the implementation of predictive analytics to help shape operational and strategic decisions
- Translating business requirements into actionable insights, working with team members to collect, analyze, and present data to drive operational improvements
- Pulling and synthesizing data from various tools (e.g., CRM for Sales, marketing automation tools, product analytics platforms, operations tracking software) to provide comprehensive reports
- Providing regular performance reports, identifying trends and improvement opportunities, and communicating findings to stakeholders at all levels
- Recommending improvements to operational processes based on data insights to drive efficiency and profitability
- Ensuring seamless integration of data sources into dashboards, while maintaining data accuracy and consistency
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role (business analyst, data analyst, reporting analyst, or quantitative analyst)
- Proficiency with reporting software like Tableau or similar and a strong understanding of databases and SQL
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen and articulate your ideas clearly
- Analytical, diligent, and rigorous in your approach to problems
- Curiosity about data and a passion for finding answers hidden in data sets
- Bonus points for experience in consulting, operations, statistics, predictive analytics, or SaaS
- Familiarity with user behavior analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Mixpanel)
- Experience in sustainability / earth observation area
