Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will be an integral part of the team led by our Sales Manager. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and expanding strong, long-term relationships with our existing clients within the Nearshoring setup in the IT outsourcing industry, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the emagine group, including teams in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, UK, Germany, France, to support client growth and uncover new sales opportunities. The role is critical to the continued success of our Nearshoring Hub. You will play a key part in ensuring seamless delivery for our clients, while actively fostering long-term growth and deepening relationships, both with clients and fellow Business Development Managers across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers across international markets to jointly foster client growth and expand client portfolio within the Nearshoring delivery model.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers within our current client portfolio,
  • Work independently and together with Business Development Managers to identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and proactive client engagement.
  • Initiate contact with potential clients, generate leads, and develop a robust pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations, create tailored proposals, and secure contracts that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Monitor industry trends, analyze market data, and monitor competitors closely to identify emerging business opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on strategies, share insights, and ensure that sales processes run smoothly.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, within the IT outsourcing sector or related industries.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills as the role requires lots of stakeholder management in a multicultural environment.
  • Very good negotiation skills with a proven ability to engage senior decision-makers and close deals.
  • Strong understanding of global market dynamics in the IT outsourcing industry.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team, contributing to collective success through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication with international clients.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and keen to achieve and surpass ambitious sales targets.

Working arrangement

The position allows working independently and in pairs with other BDMs in the Nearshoring setup, with the support of a friendly and committed team while leaving space for an individual approach and ideas.
