Business Development Manager (New Business)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support the company’s growth through market development activities within the packaging industry.

The role focuses on identifying and initiating new business opportunities, working closely with internal teams to smoothly transition potential customers into further stages of cooperation.

Your responsibilities

  • Actively identify and acquire new business opportunities within target industries
  • Initiate contact with prospective customers and build a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Generate leads through direct outreach, LinkedIn, industry events, and trade fairs
  • Open commercial discussions and introduce the company’s offer to new customers
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals in cooperation with internal teams
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth potential
  • Act as the main contact during the early phase of customer engagement
  • Represent the company professionally in external business interactions
  • Monitor business development activity and support continuous improvement of sales processes

Our requirements

  • Experience in business development or a similar B2B sales role
  • Background in the packaging / paper / carton / manufacturing industry or closely related sectors
  • Proven ability to initiate and develop business relationships
  • Solid understanding of market development and customer acquisition processes
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Independent, proactive and results‑oriented working style
  • High level of professionalism and resilience
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel as required by the role
