We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth within the logistics and distribution sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive industry knowledge, exceptional sales acumen, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:



  1. Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities for Distribution, Transportation and Service Parts Logistics: Research and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to identify potential business opportunities. Pursue leads through various channels, internally and externally.
  2. Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  3. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, solutions, and finance, to build a compelling solution. Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns.
  4. Negotiations: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals.

Qualifications:

  1. University degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the logistics and distribution industry.
  3. Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply chain management.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  6. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  9. Willingness to travel as needed.
