As a Business Development Manager , you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by owning the sales process from the ground up. This entrepreneurial role requires you to establish a comprehensive sales framework, build a pipeline, and focus on closing deals. You will have the autonomy to create and lead while benefiting from a support team for lead generation, allowing you to concentrate on high-impact sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Own the Sales Process : Establish and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting tech companies in Australia, leveraging your knowledge of outsourcing and related industries.
  2. Lead Closing : Focus primarily on converting qualified leads into clients through tailored pitches and effective communication.
  3. Client Relationship Management : Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and presenting solutions that add value.
  4. Market Understanding : Stay informed about the Australian tech industry’s hiring trends to position our services effectively.
  5. Collaborate with the Team : Work with internal support for lead generation, outreach, and administrative tasks to maximize your closing potential.
  6. Performance Monitoring : Utilize data-driven decision-making to track progress against sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the IT, software development, or tech staffing sectors. Experience specifically in outsourcing or related industries is highly valuable.
  2. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  3. CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  4. Sales and Marketing Software: Knowledge of sales and marketing software is essential for managing leads and tracking performance.
  5. Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and set up processes from scratch.
  6. Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities to engage with senior decision-makers effectively.
  7. Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in closing deals and achieving revenue targets.
