Position

Business Development Manager

TL;DR

We are looking for a self-driven Business Development Manager with experience in B2B sales or business development. Preferred industries include photovoltaics (PV), renewables or the energy sector. You should be a well-spoken communicator and courageous negotiator with an entrepreneurial mindset and a laser focus on achieving targets. Proficiency in English is required, and you should be ready to make an impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop existing and acquire new B2B clients (installers & wholesalers) across Europe, on and off the platform, to be present on sun.store
  • Build and develop long-term business relations and partnerships; become the go-to partner for your accounts
  • Prepare and present offers tailored to and aligned with our clients’ needs
  • Support sun.store clients through the order process and ensure smooth deal execution
  • Collaborate with Product, Logistics & Customer Success Teams to deliver best-in-class service

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Preferred: photovoltaics (PV), renewables or energy sector; experience with installers or distributors in PV or energy sector is a plus
  • Strong relationship-building skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Good negotiation skills; ability to combine a consultative sales approach with strong target orientation
  • Hands-on, self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficiency in English (B2+/C1)

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot) and familiarity with digital sales processes
  • Multilingual capabilities (German, French, Italian) – a huge plus
