Do you dare to take up the challenge to further expand our Forwarding Unit and make it a great success? As a Business Developer, you are the hunter who tackles everything. From cold acquisition to warm leads. You will be responsible for generating new business and expanding our network in Poland. With your performance drive and broad network, you know how to create new opportunities time after time. What does Odin do?

Odin is originally a Dutch company. From our headquarters in Rotterdam and several distribution centres in the port of Rotterdam, we provide a wide range of logistics and logistics-related services. Since 2024, we have also been active on the Polish market. Our office in Poland is located in Tarnow. We have a competent and enthusiastic team which knows the market and its specific requirements well. We are knowledgeable and offer a wide range of services that meet our customers highest expectations. We stand for first-class service, excellent storage facilities in new and modern distribution centres, smooth handling of customs formalities and timely delivery at competitive rates.


What are you going to do?

-        Actively approach potential customers and expand the customer base;

-        Develop an existing client portfolio and attract new partners;

-        Generate new business opportunities through cold acquisition and lead follow-up;

-        Working under commercial objectives in an independent working environment;

-        Collaborate with the Forwarding team at local, regional and national level;

-        Assessing the needs of partners in transport logistics and warehousing.


What do you bring?

-        3 to5 years experience in a commercial freight forwarding environment in a business development role;

-        Basic knowledge of corporate finance (cost, loss, profit, procurement);

-        Excellent language skills in both Polish and English and good intercultural relationship skills;

-        An unquenchable hunger for knowledge and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends;

-        Flexibility to be available outside working hours for escalations and willingness to support colleagues during absences or peak periods;

-        Service-oriented listener and persuasive communicator, ready to be challenged by demanding high-profile customers and meet their logistical needs;

-        Experience in managing a customer portfolio and developing new business opportunities with prospects.
