responsibilities :
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements
Documenting and formalizing business and data requirements using industry-standard tools
Identifying data specifications that accurately reflect business needs
Supporting and maintaining existing ETL pipelines using Python and GCP development
Defining and obtaining source data necessary for delivering insights
Mapping data from multiple sources to create comprehensive datasets
Highlighting and reporting data inconsistencies for user review
Validating, analyzing, and modeling data to create clear use stories for data engineers
Assisting with data migration processes and providing suitable migration sets to stakeholders
Supporting data-related tasks including governance, quality, and metadata management
requirements-expected :
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence
Strong experience in a Business/Data Analyst role
Proficiency in PySpark and SQL, with the ability to navigate databases, especially Hive
Experience with Google Cloud Platform services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, and Dataflow
Strong analytical skills to handle and manipulate large datasets
Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data management principles
Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights clearly
Familiarity with SDLC, Agile processes, and testing methodologies such as TDD
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with data models and dictionaries in a financial context
