A newly established global function in the retail sector is seeking a Business/Data Analyst to help drive the transformation and digitization of merchandising operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering team at the foundation of a strategic initiative that is redefining how products are selected, presented, and sold across a global network of fuel stations.
responsibilities :
Analyse and interpret data from multiple retail and operational systems
Contribute to the development of the target platform’s data model
Map data sources and define ETL processes
Collaborate with stakeholders across merchandising, operations, and IT
Translate business needs into detailed functional features
Assist with solution configuration to support real-world retail operations
requirements-expected :
At least 5 years of experience in the IT area
Strong background in business and data analysis
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a U.S.-based analyst offering deep domain expertise and onboarding support
Comfort in navigating ambiguity and shaping systems from the ground up
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
Very good English and Polish skills
Openness for flexible hours, including occasional evening calls/meetings
Residing in Poland required
