Business Controller

Your responsibilities

• Revenue process controlling and reporting on a monthly basis;
• Preparing and maintaining the calculation of production costs, on a semi-annual and annual basis for statutory reporting purpose and as necessary for management purpose;
• Support of subsidiary entity to implement the production cost model;
• Analysis and interpretation of the Company's results, including comparison of actuals versus budget and KPIs reporting;
• Analysis of deviations and determination of their causes;
• Preparation and assessment of business cases, recommendation (go/no go, amendments);
• Support in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Reporting / annual Budget / Forecast / multi-year Business Plan;
• Support during annual Financial Statements audit;
• Proposition of corrective / improvement actions (from the financial side) to processes;
• Providing training / knowledge-sharing to enhance the financial knowledge and the adherence to financial procedures/rules in the organisation;
• Participation in optimisation / build-up projects in the area of finance.

Our requirements

• Proven experience in a similar function preferably in the biotechnology / pharmaceutical sector (minimum 3-5 years);
• Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and MS Office;
• High quality orientation;
• Solid communication skills;
• Curious and willing to learn;
• Self-starting and disciplined in their work;
• Determined to be successful, and keen to work in an interesting high-growth company with global potential;
• MS degree in Finance, Economics or related field;
• Min B2 proficiency in English and Polish;
• Interested candidates should be in Łodź or willing to relocate.
• Production cost calculation experience in manufacturing entities (preferably Pharma/Bio) is a big advantage;
• ACCA/CIMA/Post diploma qualifications is a big plus;
• Big 4 experience is a big plus.
