Business Controller - Global IT, Digitalisation & Service

Location : Warsaw, Poland

Main purpose of the position : ISS is looking to hire a Business Controller with business acumen as well as finance and accounting skills. In collaboration with the Business Controllers team, you will ensure robust performance management and operational control of a dynamic and expanding technology portfolio. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the financial progress and status of IT projects and units, ensuring alignment with budgets and business plans, and maintaining accurate and compliant accounting practices.

What you’ll do:

• Financial controlling and review of monthly actuals (PL/BS) including taking care of journals within your responsibilities.
• Follow-up on results and performance versus budgets and business cases.
• Help identify and flag issues early and take part in deciding on required actions.
• Facilitating and monitoring inter-company transactions for IT products.
• Participation in budget planning and forecast processes.
• Participation in monthly Business Review Meetings with senior management.
• Promoting a forward-looking, cost-cautious culture and transparency.

Key professional and personal qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong accounting, modelling as well as Financial Planning and Analysis skills.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.
• Masters degree in finance/accounting or a similar field.
• Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to think proactively and work independently, yet with a strong team ethic.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
