For our Finance Team we are currently looking for a Business Controller.

As part of the Controlling team, the Business Controller will play a key role in the finance organization with focus on R&D and also CB Controlling, ensuring coordination of reporting/planning activities and financial support to the strategy, innovation and commercial execution.

Responsibilities in this role will be:

Individual Accountabilities

• Implement robust controlling processes for key BA activities and group R&D operations.
• Coordinate the collection and consolidation of key financial reporting.
• Support the strategic business cases by building solid financial models.
• Ensure accurate and on-time reporting activities and communication to the main stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting process ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the group; secure budget monitoring through the proper set of KPI’s.
• Proactively manage the finance related strategic projects.
• Ensure compliance with global Finance and Group standards in close cooperation with corporate functions.

Shared Accountabilities

• Provide timely insights into financial trends and forecasts as a catalyst for proactive business management.
• Ensure appropriate risk mitigation through systematic risk assessment.
• Ensure that the Finance Team has a clear and compelling vision of what “great” looks like and how to achieve it. Taking part in improvement analyses and processes.

Key linkages & interfaces / most important stakeholders

• VP Finance CB BA, CB Controlling Manager, Head of finance product lines, CB local finance controllers.
• Regional Finance and Corporate Finance (Group accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax).

We are looking for you to have:

• Minimum of 7-8 years as finance or business / financial controller in an international environment.
• Experience with business controlling, monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting process (FP&A).
• Solid analytical and financial modeling skills (business cases).
• Industrial manufacturing company background / R&D – Projects controlling experience is a plus.
• Able to interact with corporate stakeholders and perform in a complex matrix organization.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes and demonstrate flexibility in execution.
• Openness, strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to proposing new solutions.
• Audit experience and project management skills are a plus.
• Fluent in English (writing and speaking).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Power BI is a plus.
