Your Responsibilities
As a Business Controller in the Global Finance & GBS CoE, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial operations and performance by supporting local finance teams in Marketing and Region NACA. Your key tasks include streamlining processes, planning and forecasting, creating insights through reporting, and supporting ad-hoc requests. Specifically:
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to other finance stakeholders, as well as functional management teams, and provide support with follow-up ad-hoc analysis based on the reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for your respective function.
- Collaborate with various departments to drive financial efficiency and cost control.
- Support the KPI setting process and target setting process.
- Support financial reporting go to the EVPs within Marketing and Region NACA.
- Create global templates and advanced Excel models to optimize financial planning and reporting processes.
- Support the Finance Business Partners, other Finance colleagues, and colleagues in a business function with ad hoc queries and insights.
What You’ll Need
Your Qualifications
- Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Controller or in a comparable position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to guide and improve processes across various functions and tasks.
- Proficiency in delivering effective communication, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with financial software and tools.
- Ability to contribute to a team environment while handling individual responsibilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
