Job Description

As part of our mission to deliver seamless customs solutions, we are undergoing a digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. We are seeking a dynamic Business Central Finance Consultant to join our growing team and help drive the finance system change across the group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing Business Central either from an MSD Partner or end user.

The Business Central Finance Consultant will work out of Poland and is required to assist in rolling out the CSG Business Central blueprint group-wide across 13 European countries. This individual will ensure each localisation is configured and aligned to group policies across R2R, P2P and O2R. Working with the local finance teams, and with support from MSD Partners, the consultant will prepare all Master Data, configuration and complete first line user acceptance testing. They will also gain an understanding of the operational data required for billing and complete first line testing on interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Setup repeatable configuration tailored to local market requirements
• Data configuration including sales price lists, items, customers, vendors
• First line testing of all interfaces and configuration
• Creation of end user manuals for SME training
• Data migration through configuration packages
• Creation of tailored roles for easy screen navigation
• Test permission set changes to limit access in line with group policies
• Arrange UAT training and UAT Testing

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Business Central system implementation, preferably in an international context
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Fluency in English both verbal and written; additional European languages are a plus
• Comfortable with ambiguity and must be a self-starter
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Agile)
• Strong functional knowledge and understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Data Migration experience using Excel and configuration packages
• Professional experience implementing Dynamics 365 Business Central end to end
• Firm understanding of BC Finance module, as well as competency in financial/accounting business processes
• Confident, consultative communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both individually and within a team
• Experience working across multiple BC environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload
• Ability to work to project scope, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Customs Support Group
• Facilitate effective communication between team members and partners via project management tool Jira
• Strong Excel skills
• Must be residing in Poland
