Due to the expansion of our consultancy business in Poland, we are looking for a skilled individual for the position of Java Developer.

Candidates must be located and have the right to work in Poland.

Role Purpose / Description

The key responsibilities will include the following:

1. Work with Business to elicit, analyze, clarify, and validate requirements for changes to the subject system.
2. Ensure value-addition to the organization by building a comprehensive banking domain knowledge base.
3. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and help identify the underlying business needs from the user request.
4. Deliver standard detailed requirement documents including technically feasible and realistic functional and non-functional requirements.
5. Provide support for IT teams to thoroughly understand business requirements for solution proposal, development, and testing purposes.
6. Provide ongoing consultancy to Business.
7. Provide training on features to other teams, e.g., testing team.
8. Provide ongoing consultancy on Production issues.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

1. 2 to 5 years relevant working experience.
2. Proven experience in the business environment or an IT role.
3. Basic understanding of how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer.
4. Some analysis experience and knowledge of structured techniques and Group standards.
5. Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders.
6. A good knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations, and networks.
7. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
8. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
9. Good communication in English.
