Join us as a Business Analyst!

We are looking for a talented, technically excellent and self-motivating Business Analyst to join our Alternative System team in Krakow. This position is primarily responsible for requirements analysis of business-critical applications that are used by BBH’s Alternative Client Support Group. This position requires a skilled individual who can contribute in a mature and proactive way to all phases of the project lifecycle.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Understand the system architecture and functionality and assess feasibility of user requests.
  • Gather and document requirements of proposed changes and help set scope definition.
  • Write and/or review specification documentation which may include use cases, screen design, workflow analysis, diagrams, etc.
  • Maintain requirements specification, related documentation and traceability matrix for the project.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
  • Involve in design and development process – ensuring requirements are properly understood and addressed by the technical team.
  • Provide support to technical teams by clarifying business requirements and analyzing issues to determine their root cause.
  • Participate in system and user acceptance testing.
  • Work with project managers, developers, and QA specialists towards providing efficient solutions which meet the needs of the business.
  • Actively participate in Scrum Development team and follow rules of Agile development.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree (from area of Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred)
  • Analytical skills and at least 2 years of proven experience in systems analysis, defining and documenting business requirements and performing traceability of all relevant documentation.
  • At least basic technical knowledge (e.g. knowledge of SQL, database design, infrastructure)
  • Strong understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle and/or Agile methodology
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience working with a Global team.
  • Great communication and organizational skills
