Your responsibilities

Insurance Domain Expertise

Must have deep understanding of insurance processes across:Policy lifecycle / Claims management / Billing operations

Requirements Gathering

Must be proficient in eliciting functional requirements from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Able to translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation.

Process Modeling & Documentation

Must be capable of drawing process flows and providing clear descriptions for all stakeholders.

Ensures alignment and transparency across teams.

Stakeholder Communication

Must effectively communicate with stakeholders and present data insights.

Able to build and deliver engaging presentations tailored to business and technical audiences.

Technical Awareness (Good to Have)

Understanding of integration mechanisms and data transformation processes.

Familiarity with tools such as Postman and SoapUI.

Testing Knowledge (Nice to Have)

Awareness of testing standards and ability to support or conduct testing activities.

Underwriting Knowledge (Nice to Have)

Understanding of underwriting processes and their impact on policy and risk management.

Our requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry (P&C, life, health, or reinsurance)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy management, claims, and underwriting processes
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence for backlog management and documentation
  • Ability to read and understand API documentation (Postman) and work with developers on integrations
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German or French - good to have)
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
