What will you do with us?
- Scope requirements and configure solutions using proprietary software tools to meet the accounting, compliance monitoring, performance measurement, and risk analysis needs of clients during the onboarding phase.
- Validate large investment data sets to identify, root cause, and resolve errors and inconsistencies.
- Handle complex, time-sensitive requests from clients accounting, portfolio management, trading operations, and IT departments with a significant degree of autonomy (contacts may include senior executives and other decision-makers at world-renowned companies).
- Strategize with development teams to improve our client onboarding experience, shorten delivery time frames, and develop repeatable, scalable processes.
- Work on a dynamic and fast-paced team, applying your analytical and problem-solving skills for maximum impact across the organization and industry.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team.
- Manage assigned projects and coordinate necessary resources.
Your responsibilities will be:
- End to end implementation process, which includes communication with clients, migration of their data, setup in company database, through UAT to go live.
- Application of acquired skills, procedures, and decision-making best practices to complete a variety of issues.
- Build upon your experience and develop personally in your role.
- Internal and External Communication: Trusted to deliver accurate, timely, and thorough responses to routine inquiries in both written and verbal contexts.
- Continuous Service Improvement: Identifies opportunities for improvement and spearheads solutions individually/within role.
- Use the appropriate terminology when communicating with internal or external parties.
- Understanding the portfolio of products offered to client, including their potential presentation and/or training of external parties in them.
- Normally follows established procedures on work, requires instructions only on new issues.
We are looking for you if you have:
- A Bachelors degree in a finance-related and analytical field.
- Fluency in English with experience of using English in a work environment.
- A sound understanding of the basic types of Financial Instruments.
- Willing and able to work in Krakow or Katowice offices.
- An inquisitive mind and excellent problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude to solving problems by drawing on company resources and the experience of teammates.
- Self-learning ability.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Basic SQL knowledge or willingness to learn.
Nice to have:
- Accounting: Basic understanding of investment accounting, financial statements, amortization, interest income, and other accounting concepts.
- At least CEFR C2 level in French, German, or Dutch.
- Finance: Basic understanding of Time Value of Money, duration, yield, returns, and risk exposures.
- Asset Classes: Basic understanding of vanilla fixed income and equity investments and deepening knowledge of various security types and/or alternative security types.
- Finance and/or accounting experience.
- Securities or financial markets experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel such as VLookUp, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, and Ribbon Utilization.
