Join our team as a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Tax Reporting , where youll be a part of international Research & Development Team and you will play a crucial role in shaping our client’s leading software product. This cutting-edge solution serves private and corporate clients by generating precise, country-specific tax reports across about 30 jurisdictions.

Your expertise will contribute directly to our client’s mission of enabling some of the world’s largest private and wealth management banks to meet their tax reporting obligations efficiently and accurately.

Your Daily Missions:

• Develop and refine concepts, and collaborate closely with R&D team to implement these solutions to the system.
• Act as a specialist advisor to the clients on issues related to country-specific tax reporting and withholding for various jurisdictions.
• Analyze regulations and customer-specific requirements to ensure the software not only meets but also exceeds these standards.
• Support client implementation projects and training sessions for system modules.
• Partner with the sales team to enhance the sales strategies for modules within your area of expertise.
• Serve as a primary contact for client support and module maintenance, ensuring continuous service excellence.
• In cases where consultation is needed, you will work with the big four (there is no need to be a legal specialist, but rather someone who knows how to ask questions, look for potential legislation changes, etc.)
• Work in Spotify Model.

The Essentials We’re Seeking:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position with knowledge about banks, trading platforms, tax rules, capital gains etc.
• Proven experience in a banking environment, ideally in the area of tax reporting.
• Basic knowledge of XML, databases, SQL and experience using tools like Jira and Zendesk.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience in specifying user stories and epics.
• An independent and self-organized specialist who is also a team player, capable of injecting innovative ideas into projects.
• Excellent communication skills for clear and concise interaction between business, product teams and clients.
• Fluency in English (C1), with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and interact effectively with clients and colleagues.

Nice-to-haves:

• Certifications in banking operations, taxes, or investment products (e.g., CEFA, CFA, FMO/FMT, MASIT) will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of UK trusts and cryptocurrency will a plus.
• Familiarity with banking applications such as core banking systems and output management systems is beneficial.
• Experience in tax reporting for jurisdictions such as Austria, Germany, Ireland, or the UK is preferred.
• Proficiency in German (this role includes two vacancies, one vacancy requires fluency in English for the UK market, and the other also requires fluency in German for the DACH area).
