As an IT Business Analyst, you will serve as a bridge between business and technology. Your role involves understanding complex business needs and translating them into actionable technical requirements. Youll be instrumental in driving the successful delivery of innovative solutions aligned with companys strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of current and target states for Financial Engineering infrastructure and modeling processes.
• Act as a liaison between Modelling teams, IT and other impacted stakeholders.
• Collaborate with modeling and data source teams to create artifacts such as data requirements, data models, and data dictionaries.
• Assist in the creation of datasets required for model development and execution.
• Define business and functional architecture for model execution and monitoring.
• Prepare and execute test plans, scripts, and functional testing for model deployment.
• Evaluate production incidents related to Financial Engineering, ensuring clear communication with IT and modeling teams for resolution.
• Guide modeling teams in adopting Financial Engineering coding excellence standards, as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry.
• Knowledge of credit risk modeling, including capital calculation approaches, loss distributions, credit ratings, and model development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in data analytics, data modeling, and defining sourcing, transformations, controls, and lineage.
• Experience analyzing large datasets.
• Intermediate proficiency in SAS and Python.
• Familiarity with JIRA and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proven experience in Agile delivery, including epics/user stories, functional specifications, solution design, and testing strategies.
