Our client is one of the leading financial services organizations with an office in Limassol, Cyprus. As one of the largest banks in Asia, they are driving innovation in the financial sector with cutting-edge IT products. Technical analysis of trade execution and processing is required as they transition their existing system to a new project. A deep understanding of the legacy system is crucial, as it is being migrated to a new version. This role demands a hands-on approach, ensuring a smooth transition in line with the migration roadmap.
You will be joining a team of Technical Product Owners, working as the Business Analyst for the trading platform. The team consists of developers (3 backend, 2 frontend), 2 QA engineers, and a Scrum Master. There is also a Business Analyst (non-technical) focused on gathering business requirements, but the team lacks a technical-focused BA, which is where you come in.
responsibilities :
Assess the current business processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Deep problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail.
Understanding data flows—where the data comes from and why.
Logical system design and troubleshooting complex processes.
Reading and writing database queries, preferably SQL.
Support non-technical teams in adapting to business processes and methodologies through roadmaps, workshops, and ongoing guidance.
Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of solutions.
Act as a bridge between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring all requirements align with organizational goals.
requirements-expected :
Four or more years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT-related projects.
Experience in the fintech industry and domain-specific knowledge about financial investments.
Advanced English proficiency in speaking and writing (you will be working in an international team).
Technical insight – working with databases, creating SQL queries and designing test case will be necessary.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
Understanding of software development and quality assurance processes.
Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other process mapping tools.
