How do we work?

We are looking for a self-motivated and results-oriented Business Analyst/Product Owner to help drive and support our product development strategy. We work in an international environment with Product managers located in Poland and Business stakeholders located in Canada, Poland, and the UK.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document business and regulatory requirements and translate these into detailed functional specifications.
• Prepare test cases and test plans for projects.
• Support engineering teams in conducting UAT testing.
• Evaluate potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf and open-source components, and the system architecture to ensure that they meet business requirements.
• Work closely with engineering teams acting as a bridge between development and business teams.
• Build, refine and maintain product backlogs while working closely with Product Manager and stakeholders.
• Cooperate with Product Manager and Engineering Leads on managing the teams backlog and roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects planning and implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a similar role (e.g. Business Analyst, Product Owner).
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience designing and documenting new processes and workflows.
• Experience of integrating and working with 3rd party products and vendors.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the proven ability to apply them effectively.
• Experience facilitating workshops and meetings with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing cooperation with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience planning, monitoring and executing business analysis in the IT projects.
• Experience collaborating directly with development teams.
• Basic knowledge of system architecture enabling cooperation with technical teams.
• Knowledge of the financial industry, trading, and related topics.

Nice to have

• Experience within fintech / finance area.
• Experience in preparing diagrams using UML and BPMN 2.0 notation.
• Experience with requirements engineering.
• ECBA certificate or equivalent will be an advantage.
• PSPO I certificate or equivalent will be an advantage.
