ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?

We want you to be a part of our team, from Warsaw, as a Business analyst.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY‑TO‑DAY?

• Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data.
• Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements and user stories.
• Supports business experts and product owners during definition of requirements and software development.
• Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle.
• Transfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification.
• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features.
• Supports identification of options for potential solutions.
• Supports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies.
• Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management.
• Responsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence.
• Responsible for taking a holistic approach in the planning and managing of a programme for continuous improvements of business processes.
• Responsible for coaching Frontex staff on upcoming changes, ensuring that a plan is in place to teach new skills and/or process changes.
• Collaborates with owners of end‑to‑end processes to continually seek out process improvements.
• Identifies opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains).
• Communicates project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to all stakeholders, in order to better provide rapid responses to business needs.
• Quantitatively analyses business processes, performing cost‑benefit and what‑if analysis.
• Implements performance monitoring systems for business processes.
• Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g. sector strategies, implementation plans etc.).
• Supports definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Has gone at least once through the complete lifecycle of the software solution.
• Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation.
• Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis.
• Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.).
• Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others.
• Presents excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Has knowledge or experience from projects in the area of authentic and false identity and travel documents.
• Has knowledge or experience from projects related to systems processing large number of images.
• Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1 level).

Certifications (Mandatory)

At least 2 certifications among:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.
• Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent.
• or equivalent certifications recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority).
