The IT company Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst for a U.S.-based project with a global travel payment provider.
The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s airlines. The network consists of major airlines that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of merchants around the world for air, rail, cruise, and travel agency payments.
The project is a platform that helps reduce payment processing costs and streamline travel expense management for organizations worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive BA documentation.
- Conducting interviews, workshops, and negotiations directly with clients and their end-users to understand real needs, expectations, and constraints.
- Translating business needs into clear documentation: user stories, business process models (BPMN), acceptance criteria, etc.
- Acting as a bridge between product, engineering, and client teams, ensuring all parties are aligned.
- Collaborating with UX/UI, Product Managers, QA, and Developers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Leading backlog refinement, ensuring prioritization of business value, and maintaining clear product documentation.
- Driving pre-sales discovery and contributing to proposal creation, if needed.
- Monitoring industry trends and suggesting improvements to product offerings and internal processes.
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst in fintech, banking, or enterprise systems, for 4+ years.
- Proven experience in direct communication and negotiation with clients and end customers.
- Strong experience with BA documentation: BRD, FSD, user stories, diagrams, etc.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart, Figma.
- Good understanding of APIs, integrations, and financial processes.
- Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and above.
