The project aims to consolidate two existing POS applications, currently operating independently on different technologies, into one unified solution built on the Salesforce platform. The new application will deliver consistent processes, a unified user experience, and improved adoption among business partners.
The POS tool is essential for partners across markets to submit monthly sales and inventory data. A key goal of the project is to understand current user barriers and improve the system’s usability and efficiency.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the early phase of the project - analyzing differences between current systems, defining end-to-end processes, and shaping the direction of the target solution.
YOU WILL
- Gather, validate, and document detailed business requirements
- Compare and assess processes supported by the existing POS applications; identify gaps and alignment opportunities
- Analyze and map end-to-end processes across markets and partner groups
- Create functional specifications and contribute to solution design
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, architects, development teams, and business stakeholders
- Identify risks, issues, and the business impact of proposed changes
- Recommend improvements in processes, integrations, and user experience
- Support business transition and change adoption
- Advocate best practices in system and process design.
- Participate in project meetings (occasionally after 5 PM)
MUST HAVE
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects
- Strong experience documenting requirements, user stories, designs, and technical/business specifications
- Ability to work with large datasets and analyze complex processes
- Excellent communication skills, transparency, and ability to work independently
- Very good command of English (international environment)
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
- Ability to clearly communicate concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working on POS system projects
- Background in integration or migration projects
- Experience with the Salesforce platform
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
