This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join our Transaction Sanction Screening team within the Anti-Money Laundering(AML) Program. The team consists of System/Platform Engineers, Business Analysts and a Team Architect reporting to the Development Manager. The team implement and maintain a new strategic platform enabling sanction screening capabilities across Banks in the BEC community.
The Business Analyst role offers the possibility of being a central part of implementing and maintaining a leading sanction screening platform for the financial institutions in the BEC community. Collaboration with third party vendors and BEC community banks is part of the life as a Business Analyst. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to eight days per month. Your direct manager will be Mikkel Holck.
responsibilities :
Analysis and ongoing optimization of sanction hit- and alert data
Develop, test and fine-tune screening rules to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives in collaboration with AML- and Sanction specialists in the BEC community banks
Drive cycles of periodic review of screening rules in collaboration with representatives from BEC community bank
Drive refinement of features and tasks in collaboration with team members and BEC colleagues
Support test and implementation of new sanction screening functionality
Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, bank representatives, and your team, you will gather and understand both functional and non-functional requirements.
Help to secure regulatory compliance of BEC systems as well as for the BEC community banks
requirements-expected :
Have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
Have an analytical mindset and motivated by driving and performing optimization cycles
Have strong stakeholder skills and taking the lead on driving through process and system improvements
Be self-driven, proactive and don’t be shy to express your opinion
Master English at a high level both in writing and orally working in teams in Denmark and Poland
