About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Cybersecurity function, working in an Agile / DevSecOps environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Technical Delivery Lead, and a wide range of stakeholders to define requirements and support the delivery of secure, effective solutions.

A key aspect of this role will be to support and enhance testing processes and QA practices across Cybersecurity projects and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

Control Operation:

  • Support teams in raising change requests and ensuring compliance with security controls.
  • Train users and create process documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Analyse compliance data, identify trends, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Define and implement BAU processes for managing controls and monitoring control metrics.
  • Perform spot checks to ensure adherence to security controls.

SDLC Project:

  • Define and implement procedures for managing test evidence, including training, best practice guidance, and template creation.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve testing environments and practices, addressing application-related risks.
  • Support the development of professional QA standards and assist delivery teams in uplifting their testing practices.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives within change and testing processes.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Define user stories, translate business requirements into technical requirements, and communicate effectively with DevOps teams.
  • Organise and lead workshops, map workflows, and document process improvements.
  • Work with Product Owners to manage product backlogs and define testable acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration, decision-making, and communication across teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage scope, priorities, and queries.

What we are looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including a minimum of 3 years in Agile Software Development teams.
  • Proven experience in supporting testing processes and QA practices.
  • Relevant industry certifications will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to independently run and manage workshops.
  • Solid understanding of Agile practices and tools (epics, user stories, backlog management, burndown metrics, retrospectives, defect management).
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in MS Excel (pivot tables, Power Query) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience creating process flow diagrams and driving process optimisation.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba).
  • Proficiency with Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
