About the project
As a Business Analyst with a strong software development background, you will be a key contributor to our Bosch Digital Business Unit. Your role is to expertly bridge the gap between high-level business needs and technical implementation. You will translate requirements for our global network policy management and automation tools into effective software solutions. By focusing on the bigger architectural picture, you will ensure our systems are performant, well-documented, maintainable, and aligned with Bosch's high standards of quality.
Your responsibilities
- Requirements Engineering: Collect, analyze, and challenge business requirements from global stakeholders, particularly in the network and cybersecurity domains. Translate complex needs into clear, actionable specifications (e.g., user stories, use cases, process flows). You will be the primary funnel for our development team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with international teams, including product owners, system engineers, and QA specialists, to deliver integrated, high-performing solutions.
- Architectural Contribution: Actively contribute to the architectural design of complex software systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security. Promote the implementation of architectural best practices and software design patterns.
- Technical Documentation & Communication: Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation (e.g., API specifications, architectural diagrams, decision records). You will also lead demo sessions and explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving & Innovation: Analyze complex technical challenges, debug intricate issues, and proactively identify innovative solutions that enhance our products and processes.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the Bosch engineering community.
Our requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Business Analysis Expertise: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications, ideally within the networking domain.
- Software Development Experience: A strong track record in developing complex software solutions using Python (with Django) and JavaScript. You must be proficient with modern containerization (Docker), deployment platforms (OpenShift), and CI/CD tools.
- Architectural Know-How: A solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and system integration. Experience with cloud-native architectures is highly valued.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience with or a strong interest in network policy management and automation tools (e.g., Tufin). CCNA certification is a significant plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira is an advantage
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is mandatory for effective collaboration with our international teams.
