We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Strategic Business Engagement (SBE) Team. The project is a strategic Informatics program aimed at enabling high-value Artificial Intelligence (AI) use cases, with an initial focus on Generative AI (GenAI). This initiative seeks to build purpose-driven platforms and services, establishing a foundation for a Center of Excellence in AI.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that AI and GenAI applications align with organizational objectives and deliver maximum value.

Business Analyst – AI and GenAI applications

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for both generative and non-generative AI applications.
• Develop detailed process maps and workflows to capture both current and future state business processes.
• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment and a clear understanding of business needs.
• Work closely with the technical team to design and validate solutions that meet business requirements and are scalable for AI-driven applications.
• Maintain thorough documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories for development and testing purposes.
• Assist in the creation of test plans and participate in subject matter expert and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions fulfill business requirements.

Our requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on AI solutions or related technologies.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Intermediate Python scripting experience is required or the willingness to learn prompt engineering for AI-based scripting.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams and contributing to iterative project delivery.
• Familiarity with SQL and the ability to explore and analyze data from databases such as Snowflake to support business decision-making.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A strong team player who thrives in an innovative, cross-functional team culture.
