For our Client, an international manufacturing company, we are looking for candidates for the position of Business Unit Director CEE Region.

The position is based in the Poznań area.

You will be responsible for leading and implementing strategic growth and P&L management within the CEE region for all department products and services. A key aspect of the role is to provide direction and leadership to the Team and Operations functions based in plant. You will responsible for the P&L strategic planning and provide strong financial management. Your actions will lead to the continued development of a collaborative culture and ensure that succession planning are important elements of your leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Effective leadership of your teams to enable them to perform to the standards required by the business, setting clear performance objectives and measurements.
• Manage the P&L, develop, lead and implement the business strategies to achieve the financial objectives of the business.
• Develop and implement a set of business KPI’s in line with the business strategy.
• Analyse performance, identify development opportunities and ensure they are implemented in order to achieve forecasted profit targets.
• Give clear direction on sales strategy and drive initiatives to ensure sales and margin growth.
• Drive a culture of operational excellence (KLIMB) fostering a culture of H&S and continuous improvement in all areas of operations.
• Lead the implementation of business improvements and other organisational initiatives and effectively manage these through clear KPIs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all levels of the business.
• Undertake regular communications and other activities your teams to foster a culture of employee engagement at all levels of the business.
• Ensure that the Company’s Compliance philosophy and values are communicated and adhered to consistently across the organisation.
• Ensure the organisation complies with Health, Safety, Environmental and all other legal obligations at all times.
• Pro-actively lead and promote people development specifically in areas such as talent management, project management, commercial awareness, technical development and people management and leadership skills.

Requirements:

• Proven leader with a track record at Senior Manager level, in a reputable multi-site production organisation.
• Experience in the plastics industry is preferred.
• Exceptional leadership and people skills, tough and resilient, whilst being able to manage through delegation.
• Ability to work and lead in an international multi-site business.
• Experience in management of operations and sales teams in production company
• P&L Management experience, 5 years minimum.
• Goal and target-oriented with experience in leading senior leaders and developing strong teams
• knowledge of business strategy, finance and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).
• Fluent in English and preferable in Polish.
