BU Soda Communications Leader/Manager (m/k/x)

Scope of Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies for the SODA Business Unit (Poland, Germany, Business Unit Headquarters).
• Manage ongoing business communication – prepare materials, presentations, press releases, content for newsletters and internal channels.
• Coordinate B2B marketing communication (product materials, trade fairs, sales support activities).
• Collaborate with local media, prepare and distribute press information, organize events and media visits (Inowrocław PL, Staßfurt DE).
• Manage local social media channels (currently the official Facebook profile) and initiate activities in new channels in line with group policy.
• Organize and communicate sponsorship, donations, and community engagement activities in local communities.
• Responsible for internal communication across three key locations (Inowrocław, Staßfurt, Warsaw) – supporting organizational culture and employee engagement.
• Cooperate with the Group’s Central Communication Department to ensure compliance with global standards, branding, and communication strategy.
• Manage a small team (max. 1 + 2) and actively participate in operational activities.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and prepare reports and recommendations.

Requirements

• Higher education, preferred fields: communication, marketing, journalism, PR, or related.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communication, internal communication, PR, or B2B marketing (preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment).
• Fluent German (min. C1) – mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site across multiple locations (Inowrocław, Staßfurt, Warsaw) to stay close to business operations.
• Very good English (minimum B2); knowledge of Polish will be an additional asset.
• Ability to independently plan and execute communication projects and manage a team.
• Excellent editorial, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of digital communication tools and social media.
