What is the BSP Real Estate division responsible for?

Benefit Street Partners is seeking a bright, dynamic, and hard-working individual to join the Real Estate division. BSP’s real estate strategy focuses on originating and managing commercial mortgage loans across the country and in all segments of the market. BSP’s dedicated real estate team consists of over 80 professionals with origination and underwriting capabilities that enable it to generate proprietary deal flow.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the BSP CRE FP&A Senior Associate?

1. Maintain internal databases to ensure accurate financial and operational reporting
2. Perform monthly validations to ensure data integrity
3. Assist in the implementation of new portfolio monitoring platforms
4. Create and maintain PowerBi reporting for the real estate division
5. Produce daily/weekly/monthly standardized reporting packages for distribution to senior management team
6. Assist in the preparation of ad hoc strategic analysis

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

1. 4 years of experience in Financial Services. Real Estate industry is a plus
2. Experience in modeling and working with large amounts of data is mandatory
3. Experience with Hyperion SmartView, ilevel or any other consolidation tools
4. Advanced experience in Excel
5. Accounting/Finance Major – Bachelors or higher
6. Attention to detail and organizational skills required
