Broker Collections Clerk

Key responsibilities:

• Managing agent collections and receivables (full handling of collections for brokers).
• Verifying and recording statements from agents.
• Overseeing timely execution of settlement transactions.
• Reconciling discrepancies in billing and booking (such as premium and commission differences) with partners, brokers, and relevant departments like sales.
• Assigning declared cash receipts via agent statements to pending accessory claims.
• Providing support to sales and operational teams.
• Drafting personalized statements and individual correspondence.
• Handling phone inquiries from internal and external partners or brokers (in German).

Qualifications:

• Fluency in German and English (level B2/C1).
• University-level education.
• Professional experience in payment transactions with a focus on accounting.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly with billing partners/brokers.
• Capability to analyze, assess, and reorganize complex professional and technical processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
