AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Bridges & Structures Designer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland or Kraków, Poland.

We are currently recruiting a Designer with experience in bridges and/or structures design, to join our experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of Projects, either as standalone bridge commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects.

Heres what youll do:

• Work as part of a bridges and structures team with other designers at the same functional level that can be from different EC offices (Poland, Spain, India).
• Coordinate and lead design teams.
• Conduct complex value engineering evaluations, determining alternative designs, materials, construction techniques.
• Work autonomously within established procedures and practices.
• Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings, including participation in interdisciplinary reviews.
• Ensure that project technical goals/milestones/ budgets are met.
• Prepare complex project deliverables and mentor.

Qualifications

Heres what were looking for:

• Proven track record of working on bridges and/or and structures designs and collaborating with international and multi-cultural teams (+7 years)
• Experience with international regulations and standards (i.e AASTHO; AREMA, Australian Codes; British Standards, etc.).
• Proficiency in engineering calculation software for bridges / structures (Midas Civil, CSiBridge / SAP2000, etc. are of interest).
• Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.
• Ability to solve complex issues with limited direction on the bridges and/or structures field.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license will be considered favorably.
