Bridge Designer

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor less experienced staff,
  • Use relevant Structural/Bridges design software,
  • Develop networks with global technology leaders for Bridges,
  • Ensure that quality control plans are followed, incorporation of health and safety into design,
  • Leading and delivering bridges design, project documentations including reports and contract documents for various design stages like: feasibility studies, tenders designs, detailed designs etc.,
  • Tracking of project programs and delivery dates,
  • Undertaking technical reviews and checking,
  • Liaising with contractors and clients, both external and internal,
  • Assistance to others with bidding (technical),
  • Deliver projects in English;

Our requirements

  • Master in relevant accredited engineering degree,
  • Chartered Engineer of an appropriate professional body as plus,
  • Very good command of English,
  • Experience of leading multi-disciplinary projects as plus,
  • Relevant experience gained within a design office particularly in the field of Bridges design, analysis, assessment, inspection and reports,
  • Good presentation skills,
  • Personal skills: well organized, team player but with an ability to work independently when required;
