The opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Consultant with expertise in BY WMS Functional to join the leadership group of our consulting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your key responsibilities

1. Responsible for WMS modules with good functional/domain understanding and hands-on experience in configurations, training, knowledge transfer, and documentation.
2. Deliver high-quality client solutions that meet and exceed client and EY expectations and are delivered on-time and on-budget.
3. Manage client solution delivery, including defining project approach, leading and motivating project teams, monitoring and managing project risks, managing client and EY key stakeholders, and successfully delivering client solutions.
4. Identify new business opportunities, including building strong client relations, understanding client needs and EY solution offerings, communicating client opportunities to EY leadership, and helping develop client opportunities.

Skills and attributes for success

1. Experience gathering business requirements on WMS transformation programs.
2. Analyze requirements and perform Fit-Gap Analysis.
3. Design and develop the requirements.
4. Strong expertise in configurations and testing, assist customers during UAT and go-live support.
5. Prepare and review documentation.
6. Prepare training guides and conduct user training.
7. Knowledge of WMS tables/API and infrastructure.
8. Perform roll-outs and work on RCA and bug-fixes.

To qualify for the role, you must have

1. Experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics domain.
2. Minimum 1-2 full life cycle implementation/roll-out experiences on JDA/BY Warehouse Management Solutions.

Experience in the following WMS areas:

1. Yard Management
2. Inbound Operations
3. Outbound Operations
4. Inventory Management
5. WMS Reports & Analytics

Ideally, you’ll also have

1. Working experience with onsite & offshore delivery model environment is preferred.
2. Engaging with business partners and IT to understand requirements from various parts of an organization to drive the design, programming execution, and UAT for future state capabilities within the platform.
3. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines.
4. Good understanding of outsourcing and offshoring, building win/win strategies and contracts with suppliers.
5. Knowledge of leading technologies like Blockchain, RPA, AI, etc. will be an added plus.
6. Knowledge of other leading WMS solutions like Oracle, SAP, Manhattan will have more preference.

What we look for

1. Consulting experience, including assessments and implementations, particularly in the manufacturing industry.
2. Experienced JDA/BY WMS Functional Specialist.
3. Documenting requirements and processes (e.g., process flows).
4. Working collaboratively in a team environment.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Willingness to travel 50% or more.
7. Master’s degree and/or professional certification (e.g. Masters in Supply Chain Operations, etc.) preferred.
