BIM Specialist / BIM Data Automation Specialist
We are looking for a BIM Data Automation Specialist to manage and optimize automation workflows that drive efficiency across multiple Autodesk platforms. In this role, you will configure projects, schedule automated tasks, monitor system health, and collaborate with BIM Leads to deliver accurate and reliable outputs. Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain BIM automation workflows to streamline processes across Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Navisworks.
- Schedule and monitor automated tasks for exporting NWCs, PDFs, schedules, IFCs, and generating lists.
- Operate and maintain a global network of virtual machines, troubleshoot errors, and ensure stable system integrations.
- Develop and execute scripts (e.g., Dynamo, C#) and leverage Autodesk APIs to enhance automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with BIM Leads to translate project requirements into reliable automated outputs and maintain clear documentation.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks automation workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/VM operations (RDP, Citrix, VPN, UNC paths).
- Proven troubleshooting skills for unattended runs and process recovery.
- Ability to create and manage task schedules aligned with project deliverables.
- Preferred: Proficiency in C#, PowerShell/batch scripting.
- Familiarity with ACC Desktop Connector.
- Experience with JSON/XML editing.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- 4+ years of relevant experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
