Role overview: Dentons Business Services EMEA is currently seeking a Billing Specialist to join the Europe Team. This role is accountable for a variety of billing activities. The main area of focus is ensuring that the whole billing process for the assigned Partner’s portfolio is under control.

About the role:

• Performing day-to-day tasks connected with the billing process
• Complying with the firm’s policies and any other obligations, and effectively managing risks to the firm where those risks relate to this role
• Ensuring top quality of invoices sent to the Clients
• Sending out invoices to Clients and submitting e-Billed invoices in e-Billing platforms
• Coordinating the billing process for the assigned Partners
• Generating various WIP reports for the Billing Team members
• Supporting colleagues and resolving standard cases to meet Client satisfaction
• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders (Partners, Personal Assistants, Local Finance Teams)
• Collaborating with the Revenue Management Team and supporting in finding improvements of the billing process
• Ensuring professional relations

Requirements:

• Professional experience - initial experience in Finance area, and billing will be a huge plus
• Required presence in the office two days a week
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both in writing and speaking (B2/C1 level) – other language (German/French) nice to have
• Good Legal / Financial knowledge
• Knowledge of the Elite system and of e-Billing platforms would be an advantage
• Experience in working with internal and external clients, excellent customer service focus
• Analytical thinking
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge
• Positive team player and can-do attitude
• Proactive problem solving
