Billing Analyst



Your responsibilities

Job Summary

The Billing Analyst manages and resolves all aspects of Data Center billing and billing query resolution for a global scope and operates with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

•Monitors and ensures that the monthly billing is complete and accurate for assigned customer based in accordance with close calendar.

•Processes billing adjustments timely and accurately to customer accounts making sure that the proper levels of authorization and documentation are in place.

•Is in constant contact with the upstream teams for billing related discussions.

•Reviews Invoices and conducts variance analysis, with sign off required.

•Reports/Escalates any dependencies or variances.

•Coordinates monthly invoice run to ensure correct billing.

•Assists in month end close related tasks.

•Handles billing queries.

Project Management

•Participates in projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

•Researches and provides backup for external audit requests.

•Implements and documents processes and procedures required by SOX.

•Provides input into the on-going development and support of billing systems, processes, and policies.

Reporting

•Produces and appropriately files reports and other data sources that are necessary for SOX controls or management requirements.

Our requirements

  • Previous billing experience is required.
  • Previous experience of working with large global customers will be an asset.
  • Ability to review and understand large customer contracts.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills. Likes to work with numbers and complex billing formulas.
  • Ability to use Excel functions smoothly for daily billing.
  • Readiness to follow hybrid mode and work from the office at least two days a week.
