Job Summary:
Data Solutions Architects play a key role in designing and delivering advanced data architectures and analytics solutions. Focused on both cloud and on-premise environments, this role ensures robust data management and security. You will lead architectural sessions, create proof-of-concepts, and collaborate with clients to build scalable, secure data ecosystems that align with their business goals.
Work Conditions and Onboarding:
- Onboarding in Georgia (Tbilisi): During the first 3 months, onboarding will include approximately 50% of the time spent on-site in Tbilisi.
- After onboarding, a hybrid work model with 1 week per month working from the office in Georgia (Tbilisi).
- We provide accommodation, travel expenses, and a daily allowance during your stay.
- If someone wishes to bring their family along, we are open to considering that option.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement
- Serve as the lead technical expert, gathering client requirements for data architecture, analytics, and security.
- Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders, advising on data strategy and governance.
- Design tailored data solutions that leverage modern technologies and best practices.
- Support customers in enhancing skills in areas like big data, governance, and analytics.
Business Impact
- Architect scalable data platforms for evolving needs in analytics, reporting, and security.
- Utilize expertise in data lakes, warehouses, and real-time analytics to drive business value.
- Design compliant, secure data architectures to safeguard customer data.
- Address risks related to data governance and quality, providing strategic solutions.
Technical Leadership
- Stay updated on cutting-edge data technologies, particularly cloud platforms and data security.
- Mentor team members in data architecture and integration techniques.
- Engage in technical communities, sharing insights on modern data practices.
- Contribute to developing reusable assets and improving internal processes.
Technical Experience
- Expertise in designing data lakes, warehouses, and governance frameworks.
- Strong experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Skilled in secure data environments, including encryption and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced analytics (machine learning).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- 5+ years in large-scale data architecture, analytics, and security solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior IT stakeholders on data strategy and governance.
- Experience leading cloud migrations and data modernization initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills for leading technical discussions and influencing decisions.
Certifications
- Required: Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Big Data Specialty, or equivalent.
- Preferred: CDMP, Google Professional Data Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect.
