Our client is one of the world’s leading financial institutions, providing cutting-edge technology solutions to support its global markets and securities business. Within the traded risk function, IT plays a key role in delivering modern risk management platforms that ensure effective performance and compliance with group-wide strategies. We are now looking for experienced and ambitious Engineer to join the market risk team and help build advanced OLAP solutions, driving innovation and contributing to a major technology transformation.

- University degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Strong experience in big data solution design and development, with knowledge of the full software development life cycle and Agile methodology
- Proven track record in building distributed applications (preferably in a Spark environment)
- Hands-on experience with API development, microservices, and API gateways
- Exposure to public cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
- Solid knowledge of software testing and experience in test automation frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, Karate, Rest Assured, Pact)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently under pressure and across deadlines
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills
Technical skills
- Programming: Java 11+, Groovy, Python 3.7+
- Big Data: Spark with Scala/Java/Python
- Cloud: GCP / AWS
- Frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud, Spring Cloud Gateway, Eureka
- Workflow orchestration: Apache Airflow
- Databases: PostgreSQL (and other RDBMS)
- Tools & Environments: Unix/Linux, Git, Maven
