The bank is building a new global Customer Account Reporting Engine to replace legacy reporting solutions across all Nordic markets.

The initiative focuses on consolidating all customer account and payment transaction data into a centralized Hadoop-based data platform, enabling scalable, high-performance reporting at enterprise scale.

The solution supports dozens of heterogeneous data formats and integration points, delivering standardized and regulatory-compliant reports to over 10 million customers, while processing billions of payment transactions on a monthly basis.

The project is delivered within the Corporate Access Account Reporting (CAAR) Team, part of the Payments Train, and follows the SAFe Agile framework, with close collaboration across product, architecture, development, and testing roles.

Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for a successful design and implementation of a high-performing, flexible, robust, scalable and easily maintainable global reporting solution for the Bank.
• Actively cooperating with Product Owner, Solution Architects, Analysts, Testers and Developers.
• Working in an Agile team.

Our requirements

• 3+ years of experience with functional programming in Scala
• Experience with writing Spark-based applications in Scala
• Experience with Hadoop Technology Stack: Hive, Oozie, Kafka
• Experience in containerized technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• English - B2
• Deep understanding of the principles of distributed systems
• Experience in data engineering and building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with performance tuning of Hadoop/Spark solutions
• Experience with container-based technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in developing RESTful services
• Experience in developing web applications with Bootstrap and ReactJS
• Experience within Agile ways of working
