The Bid Manager will act as the initial technical point of contact, offering support or consultancy to the business. Responsible for providing quotations for solutions, services, and turnkey business, ensuring that competitive pricing and cutting-edge technology are highlighted. Plays a pivotal role in assisting Area Sales Managers and Contract Administrators. Offers support to sales team throughout the bid life cycle.

You will make an impact by:

• Calculating and coordinating quotations for solutions and services.
• Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bids.
• Contacting internal & external stakeholders for technical clarifications, actively supporting before and during the bidding phase.
• Providing ongoing support to the Area Sales Team.
• Offering different alternatives proactively in case of price issues or deviations from specifications.
• Contacting airfield third-party suppliers and installation contractors, preparing RFQs for these, and evaluating offers.
• Analyzing and preparing RFQs in line with recommendations.
• Preparing gross BOQs for budgetary offers.

• Strategic Bid Management: Proven track record in developing and leading winning bid strategies, from initial analysis to proposal submission.
• Project Management Skills: Understanding project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
• Cost Estimation & Analysis: Adept at conducting detailed cost analyses and estimations, ensuring competitive yet realistic proposal pricing.
• Team Leadership: Experienced in guiding and motivating multidisciplinary stakeholders to achieve excellence in bid preparation.
• Process Oriented: Ability to follow processes, filing properly every single step of the bidding process. Highly organized and focused, willing to go the extra mile to fulfill tasks on time for the bidding date.
• Industry Knowledge: Engaged in continuous learning and sharing of best practices within the aviation and airport solutions sector.
• Considered an advantage: Understanding of the Aviation Industry and deep knowledge of tender processing in Poland.
• The successful candidate must have exemplary analytical and organizational skills and understand the project management process.
• Proficiency in writing and reviewing proposals (technical and formal).
• Interpersonal and communication skills to engage across all levels of the organization, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly learn, be creative, and proactive in developing tools to work more efficiently.
• Experience handling time pressure and multitasking.
• Proficient in business English and Polish (verbal and written).
• Education: Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering.
